Humanitarian projects/Charity

By the grace of God, anything is possible when your intention is set for the greater good of humanity.

Lou passionately believes yoga and charity go hand in hand. Thanks to her Guru Sri Shakti Amma, she now understands the true meaning and the importance of service to humanity. Lou donates much of her time and a good portion of her income to support worthy causes such as education for the underprivileged, feeding hunger, healing the sick, providing clothes and food to those in need, shelters for animals, environmental sustainability and so much more. With divine blessings, Lou treats everything and everyone with utmost love and compassion. These things cost nothing yet are priceless.

Fruit trees not only supply vital oxygen to humans, but also provide food and revenue for underprivileged families. In 2012, more than 600,000 fruit trees were donated to families across India, and projects were launched on educating, protecting and enhancing forest cover in India.

Offering blankets, food and education to 1000 tribal kids in the mountains of India. November-January can be very cold months for those living in the mountains. These blankets assure them some comfort and warmth.

Delivering loads of recycled books to schools and orphanages in India. Something so simple that bring much joy and flavor to children’s education.

Providing, eating and sharing with a hundred orphan girls in Vellore, India. These little one have very little yet, they have everything: light in their eyes, joy in their laughter, kindness in their actions and love in their hearts. Humbling!

Providing care, vitamins, medications and potable water to villagers who are far from healthcare facilities. Pregnant women, elderly and children make up for most of our clientele.
