Yoga
Lou began her yoga journey in 2008, as a shear way of losing weight. The immediate benefits yoga offered sparked an interest to deepen her knowledge. Given her 16 years in the medical field, Lou integrates the knowledge of Western medicine with the holistic approach to health.
Lou studied with various teachers around the globe and practiced Yoga as taught in the west, for many years. By the grace of God, in 2012, Lou was introduced to Traditional Yoga in North India. Since then, Lou has a different view and understanding on Yoga and its healing abilities. Lou believes all forms of Yoga have benefits, though Traditional Yoga (TY) was the path that lead her to deeper spiritual connection. (Not only did it heal her countless sport injuries, it allowed her to explore and heal the root cause of it all ~ the mind which triggered a series of emotions in her life and created unnecessary difficulties. The opportunity to overcome these challenges has given her the skills and wisdom needed to support her students on their healing Journey.)
Her struggles with weight, body limitations and injuries has allowed for unique insights as an instructor. Lou’s passion for yoga, wellbeing and spirituality comes through her teachings; described as down-to-earth and inspirational, she uses a fun and logical approach which resonates with her students. Sharing her life experiences and struggles helps her students see life with a bit of humor but mostly inspires them to do the small changes that can transform every aspect of their life! Lou is a Care Giver, certified Yoga Instructor and Therapist, Pranic Healer, Thai Massage Therapist and Anatomy Trainer who wants to work with you. She also has extensive experience in various complementary healing modalities, such as acupressure, various styles of energy healing, and body-centered therapies. Lou wants to help you get well and stay well so you can live the life you deserve to live.
These sessions are designed for people with pain, injury or illness who want to cultivate relaxation, strength and ease from the inside out. The sessions will help you to get out of pain, regain functional movement and improve your wellbeing. All sessions are restorative and therapeutic focusing on relaxation while gently developing strength, stability, mobility and ease. The sessions are suitable for all lifestyles. Whether you travel for business, or train for marathons, whether you are in the midst of medical treatment or super healthy, whether you have 15 minutes in your day or 1 hour, the programs are designed to work for you so that you can experience success while getting out of pain.
